It%26#039;s a good laptop. It can serve you for a long time without being obsolete. It can multi-task well since it%26#039;s a dual-core and it has 2gb ram. It can do fair to good gaming also.

Processor - Its okay. Core 2 Duo would have been better but its good enough.

RAM - more than enough. You wont really need more for basic computing.

Graphics Card - Depending on the amount of Video RAM, 256MB up is okay. Intel is an okay brand but ATI or NVidia is better.

DVD Writer - Nice

HDD - Good enough for most people.

Brand - Acer, its good. Many people have Acer notebooks.
