How would you rate my team?
Homer Bailey went to the minors. Dump him. Maddux or Miller would be decent pickups, however, Kevin Slowey (SP) from Minnisota is supposed to be a sleeper this year. Also, last year the Arizona Diamondbacks won 90 games. Valverde (who is now on Houston and on your squad) saved about 40-45 games. Their new closer in place of him is Brandon Lyons. No one ever seems to pick up Lyons because his rank is so low. Go to your player pool, type in %26quot;Slowey%26quot; and %26quot;Lyons%26quot;. You could use an extra SP and closer, because pitchers get 1-2 starts a week.
All and all, your pitching rotation is fantastic. Oswalt is amazing, Lackey will be great, Carmona is underrated, Wakefield is nothing but consistant and great in the W column.
Juan Pierre may not even start at all in the OF.
Go into the FA pool, and see if Justin Upton of AZ is available and Andre Ethier of the LA Dodgers. Ethier is actually the favorite to start over Pierre from what I believe.
Excellent pick on Polanco.
What I don%26#039;t understand is... how did you get Holliday, Fielder, and Crawford?
How would you rate my team?
your team seems pretty good. keep jd drew he is going to have a great season.
How would you rate my team?
Hmmm...
Where to start.
Juan Pierre lost his starting position, J.D. Drew has a bad back (again), Homer Bailey was sent to the minors, and Mariano Rivera is yet another year older.
On the bright side, you have a good blend of speed, power, and batting Avg.
Your pitchers leave something to be desired. Roy Oswalt is coming off a mediocre season, and I
would never put a whole lot of faith in Wakefield.
